Unitarian Universalists have a tradition called a Water Communion that takes place in early fall, as everyone is returning from summer, whether at home or away. Unlike some congregations, UUCGF holds services all year round! But we still take part in the tradition of Water Communion as many of our members travel and are busy during the summer months.
In your travels this summer, you are invited to collect a small amount of water from a special place, whether that be a faraway destination or the comfort of your home. In September, we will pour our collected water into a common vessel and briefly share stories of our summer adventures.
